Winter tyres have a much deeper offer greater traction, grip and braking performance than summer tyres in temperatures below 7°C. Winter tyres were created specifically to provide your vehicle with as much traction as is possible during the cold British winter period.
You can not drive with winter tyres fitted all year round. These specialist winter tyres under perform in temperatures over 7°C (+7 degrees Celsius). The wear rates can increase when used in warmer temperatures. This additional wear occurs because the tyres are manufactured with a special compound mix.
